The common brake disc is made of HT250 and consists of three main elements (proportion) : C: 3.1-3.4Si: 1.9-2.3Mn :0.6-0.9. Mechanical property requirements: tensile strength >=206MPa, bending strength >=1000MPa, deflection >=5.1mm, hardness requirements between 187-241Hb. The processing of this kind of material has put forward a very high requirement for the wear resistance of the processing tool. Considering the actual braking effect, the surface finish of the brake disc processing does not need to be too high, generally reaching Ra3.2μm.
